Graduate student obtaining my Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I graduated with a bachelor's degree as an undergrad in July, 2010 with my declared major Speech-language pathology and a minor in Psychology of Human Development.
Experience
I want to be a tutor because I enjoy working with kids and want to help students succeed. After graduate school I will pursue a career within the school systems as a Speech Pathologist. I have volunteered as a tutor for 3 years, mostly with elementary aged students. I have taken educational courses as part of my major and minor to focus on learning strategies for all types of students. I've taken various classes focused on speech, literacy, special education, autism, and language. I am currently on my third year (fifth semester) of working in Ball State University's Speech and Language clinic with hands on experiences with clients. I have worked with clients ranging in age from 2 years old to 68 years old.
